WINE ENTHUSIAST

WINTER 2024

We were honored to receive more great scores from Wine Enthusiast for our 2019 pinot noir class - 96, 95 + Cellar Selection, and a 90!

2019 Suacci Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley - 96 Points

The deep, complex fruit flavors of this singular wine are remarkable for their intensity. It's a treat to savor the red and black cherries, tart blueberries and basil notes along with subtle oak spices that spread across the palate while sipping this well-balanced, appetizing wine. Best through 2033.

2019 Bacigalupi Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley - 95 Points & Cellar Selection

Deep, delicious fruit flavors and an ultrasmooth texture rely on a structure of fruit acidity and tangy tannins for balance. This complex and fascinating wine treats you to black cherry, cinnamon, clove and black-tea notes. Drinkable now but a great candidate for further aging. Best from 2026–2034.

2019 Manchester Ridge Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley - 90 Points

Although a bit subtle on the nose, this well-balanced Pinot Noir truly comes to life on the palate. Find generous notes of red and black cherry, red and black plum, chocolate, fresh and dried rose petals, wild strawberry and black pepper. All these are knit together by modest tannins and an elevated acidity that ensures freshness from start to finish.

LEGENDS OF WINE ANNUAL EVENT

We’ll let you in on a little secret – the largest crop coming out of Sacramento County last year wasn’t rice or tomatoes. It was wine grapes. And that powerhouse crop is fueling some of the most incredible wines coming out of Northern California. Now, here’s your chance to taste some of the best. Explore varietals from regional wineries that were exclusively selected by international wine legends Darrell Corti and David Berkley. Favorite area restaurants will also be onsite with selections of Sacramento’s farm-to-fork cuisine.

SUMMER 2022

We received a 94 score and the Editors’ Choice award for our 2018 Manchester Ridge Pinot Noir!

Winemaker Notes - 2018 Manchester Ridge Pinot Noir

The cool climate of Manchester brings out lots of the bright red fruits and engulfs your nose with red and black cherries, raspberry jam, with hints of cinnamon, clove, earth tones and vanillin from the oak. This wine retains a very well balanced acidity level that also brings out delicious red fruit tones such as tart cherries and cranberries, raspberry jam, strawberry with hints of herb tones integrated. Medium to full bodied with supple tannins and long finish reminds us of why we love this vineyard.

2021 WINE SPECTATOR

We were thrilled to be in the May 2021 Issue of Wine Spectator as the “go-to wine” for NBA star CJ McCollum. The trainer of the Portland Trailblazers, Geoff Clark, is a sommelier with a deep love of wine that he shares with the wine loving players as they travel the country. Geoff discovered our Tasting Room near the Golden 1 Arena in late 2020 while in town for a game. He made a return visit just a few short weeks later to purchase wine for Carmelo Anthony, CJ, and others. We are thankful for Geoff’s passionate pursuit of wine and that everyone enjoyed our wine!
