Accolades

WINE ENTHUSIAST

In our first submissions to Wine Enthusiast, we were honored to receive a 93 for our 2014 Bailarin Cellars Suacci Vineyard Pinot Noir and a 92 on our 2012 Suacci Carciere Wine Pinot Noir.

We were also mentioned in a recent article by Wine Enthusiast "New Napa and Sonoma Producers Worth Knowing".

2016 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition

We were thrilled to win a Gold Medal in this prestigious competition for our inaugural yet-to-be released 2014 Bailarín Suacci Vineyard Pinot Noir. We also won a Silver Medal for the 2012 SCW Suacci Vineyard Pinot Noir.

As the largest competition of American wines in the world, it names the Best of the Best and narrowed down thousands of wines to an exclusive few.

2016 Los Angeles International WINE COMPETITION

For 77 years, the Los Angeles International Wine Competition has showcased the finest domestic and international vintages through a wine-tasting event that is widely considered to be one of the most prestigious in the United States. An esteemed panel of judges use a blind-tasting method, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism that has remained the competition’s foundation for 77 years.

We were honored to win a Best in Class, Gold Medal, and 95 Points for the 2012 SCW Suacci Vineyard Pinot Noir. The 2014 Bailarin Cellars won a Silver Medal in the same category, Limited Production Pinot Noir. Bailarin Cellars also won a Bronze Medal in the design category for use of original illustration as the driving element of the package design. We love our hand drawn logo by local Sacramento artist Molly Brown.

2015 marked the 25th anniversary of the Grand Harvest Awards. It is the only wine-judging event in North America to focus on region where judges taste wines with other wines of the same appellation. We were honored to win two Silver Medals in our first competition ever for the 2014 Bailarin Cellars Suacci Pinot Noir and 2014 SCW Suacci Vineyard Pinot Noir.
